These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Projiq platform operated by Projiq ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using Projiq, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, joining an organization, or using any part of the Projiq platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Projiq on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Projiq platform.
Description of Service
Projiq is a cloud-based project management platform that allows organizations to manage projects, track issues, collaborate with team members, and coordinate work across sprints and workflows.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows may cause temporary service unavailability.
Accounts & Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must immediately notify us at hello@projiq.app if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts created with false or misleading information.
The person who registers an organization on Projiq ("Organization Admin") has full administrative authority over that organization's account, members, and data. Organization Admins are responsible for ensuring that members within their organization comply with these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Projiq only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Upload, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other users' accounts, or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our prior written consent
- Use the platform to send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of any part of the platform
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the platform available to third parties outside your registered organization
- Use the platform in a manner that could damage, overburden, or impair its servers or networks
Subscriptions & Payment
Projiq offers subscription plans on a monthly or annual basis. The features and limits of each plan are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
By selecting a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. All payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, levies, or duties on your subscription, except where we are required by law to collect and remit such taxes on your behalf.
Intellectual Property
The Projiq platform — including its name, logo, design, code, features, and all related materials — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without our prior written permission.
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Projiq platform for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the platform, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use that feedback without any obligation to you.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in Projiq ("User Content"), including projects, tasks, comments, and attachments.
By submitting User Content to Projiq, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. We are not responsible for any content created or shared by users within the platform.
We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Projiq, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is used only to operate, maintain, and improve the Projiq platform.
Disclaimers
The Projiq platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We specifically disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Any guarantee that the platform will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or data on the platform
- Any warranty that defects or errors will be corrected
Your use of the platform is at your sole risk. We are not responsible for any harm that may result from your use of the service or your reliance on any information obtained through it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Projiq and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Damages resulting from interruption or cessation of the service
- Damages resulting from any content posted or transmitted through the platform
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
Termination
You may stop using Projiq and close your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in your settings. Cancellation of a paid subscription and account deletion are two separate actions.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- We reasonably believe your use poses a security risk or legal liability
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority
- We discontinue the platform or any material part of it
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 90 days after termination of a paid subscription, during which you may request an export. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted.
Sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We encourage you to contact us first before initiating any formal proceedings — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally by writing to hello@projiq.app.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to the Organization Admin of each active account
- Display a notice within the platform for at least 14 days
Your continued use of Projiq after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and cancel your subscription.
